Glaucoma Suite at Wills Eye Hospital

Bittenbender Construction completed the 18,000 SF phased renovation of the Cornea and Neuro suites located on the 9th floor of Wills Eye Hospital. The project expands both departments with new offices, exam rooms, lobbies, and restrooms. Work included selective demolition, upgraded finishes, lighting, and comprehensive mechanical, plumbing, and electrical improvements, along with new automatic entrances and rooftop unit modifications.

Because construction occurred within an active hospital environment, careful planning, detailed phasing, and continuous coordination with Wills Eye staff were critical to maintaining uninterrupted patient care.
