Bittenbender Construction, LP served as the general contractor for the Drexel University Women’s Health Center. The overall design was focused around the clinical space which was broken into pods to reduce the scale of the department. Each pod has a dedicated work area to minimize distances that the clinical teams must cover. The design was intended for natural light to filter throughout the floor and the materials integrated into the design were chosen for their acoustic properties.
