Square Burger at Franklin Square

Bittenbender Construction served as construction manager for the original construction on Franklin Square. Two years later, Bittenbender was chosen as construction manager for a new café building designed to be integrated into the Square’s current architecture, serve visitors and provide earned revenue. SquareBurger is operated by Starr Restaurants in partnership with Historic Philadelphia, Inc. The project included site utility work, relocation of electrical and tel/data lines, kitchen equipment and related mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
