2015 – Bittenbender Construction celebrates the Grand Opening of it’s largest Greenspace project to date, Central Green at the Philadelphia Navy Yard designed by world renowned architect, James Corner Field Operations.
2015 – Philadelphia chapter of the General Building Contractors Association named Emily L. Bittenbender as its new chairwoman — the first female to hold the top post in the organization's 124-year history.
2015 – Bittenbender reaches 50 full-time employees
2016 – Emily Bittenbender is presented the Paradigm Award by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce
2018 – After years of sharing space on 1-floor, Bittenbender renovates it’s offices at Pier 5 and expands to a 2-floor operation on the waterfront.
2020 – Bittenbender Construction faces the challenges of Covid-19 but despite the global shut-downs they continue to have one of highest volume years in revenue to date.
2022 – The 2022 Construction Power 75 lists Emily Bittenbender as #32 and Angela Vacante as #63
