Drexel University Korman Center Expansion

DESCRIPTION

Drexel University and Bittenbender Construction broke ground this past June on the expansion of the Korman Center, located at the heart of the University’s campus.  Internationally recognized architect – Gluckman Tang Architects – has designed an addition that will enhance the 1958 building by creating gracious, double-height student lounge and study space that will extend onto the quad. Extensive landscaping, hardscaping and lighting improvements will be made to the newly named Korman Quadrangle – designed by Andropogon Associates – that will unify the campus buildings surrounding the quad.  Construction completion is projected for Fall 2017.
